The aim of the M.S. in Industrial Engineering program is to prepare industry leaders who seek an edge in the skills required to compete in the services and manufacturing sectors of the economy. The program's primary objective is to provide students with the tools, techniques, and skills required to design, optimize, and improve a broad range of systems – from the simple to the complex, and the ability to communicate results to a broad range of audiences. Graduates of the program will have a high-level ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to formulate and solve relevant industrial and systems engineering problems; an ability to communicate scientific and technical research effectively in writing and oral presentations; and an ability to conduct supervised research and development.
This program is 30 credits over 1.5 to 2 years. Students will receive a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering through this professional training. The curriculum involves core courses, engineering skill/experiential courses, and electives with project and thesis options. This degree will prepare students with the knowledge needed to diversify career opportunities in academia and industry in a broad set of fields.
Our M.S. in Industrial Engineering equips students with the expertise to solve complex industry challenges. Combining advanced coursework, hands-on research, and mentorship from top faculty, the program prepares graduates to innovate and make an impact in manufacturing, logistics, data analytics, and systems optimization.
